X-Lite X-1005 Ultra Carbon Dyad N-Com Helmet Matte Carbon / Matte Black. Modular touring helmet that incorporates advanced technology. Made of carbon fiber, it has a clear « Ultrawide » screen, a ventilation system with air inlets in the chin guard, upper front and rear. “Carbon Fitting Racing Experience” interior padding and the new LPC system. It has P/J approval to circulate in total safety both with the helmet closed in full-face mode and with the helmet open in jet mode.
Main features:
- Shell made of a high-strength and extremely light carbon fiber composite.
- 3 outer shell sizes for a better fit to each size.
- Clear « Ultrawide » screen, offering a wide field of vision. It includes an anti-fog screen (Pinlock®) as standard. It has anti-scratch treatment.
- VPS (Vision Protection System) interior sun visor with anti-scratch and anti-fog treatment, with UV protection up to 400 nanometers. It is easily removable (without the need for tools).
- Ventilation system with air inlets in the chin, upper front and rear.
- Dual Action opening system positioned in the center of the chin guard that allows it to be opened using one hand.
- “Carbon Fitting Racing Experience” interior padding made with active carbon filaments. Active carbon is characterized by being breathable, thermo-regulating, antistatic, anti-allergic and 100% natural. The padding also has mesh fabric inserts to promote air diffusion on the top of the head. They are completely removable and washable.
- LPC (Liner Positioning Control) system: the position of the inner lining can be adjusted to offer a better fit and adaptability to different head sizes.
- Side padding designed to adapt to users who wear glasses.
- Removable and washable one-piece cheek pads, made of expanded foam padding.
- Microlock² micrometric closure.
- Predisposition for the N-Com communication system (M951 X, B902 X, B602 X, ESS III)
- Includes breath deflector and wind guard.
- Homologation: UN/ECE 22-06 and P/J, allows driving with the helmet open or closed.
